Star Wars Battlefront - Offline Modes, New Heroes, Bespin Details, etc

The Bespin DLC will have 4 new maps including Walker Assault and Fighter Squadron. There will also be a new game mode, new blasters, new star cards, and new heroes which are...... Lando and Dengar! Kind of predictable, especially considering the fact that Dengar's blaster was in the game's files since launch (and yet a ton of Reddit users said I was making an excuse to spread a rumor -_-), but they're good choices so I'm happy.

There will be 8 new heroes in total, which I also predicted and no one on Reddit believed me. :P

4th DLC is still unannounced but some new dialogue was leaked from the files:



... Could be a campaign! Sucks that you'll probably have to pay for it, but I already bought the Season Pass anyway so it doesn't really affect me. Some believe this could indicate a Rogue One DLC. They notably mention a forest, AT-ATs, and stealing plans.

They also announced some free content! There will be more events such as Double XP and Credits for logging in. There will be something special for May the 4th but what it will be has yet to be seen. Some new star cards are being added along with a new trait, but the star cards have (somehow) been accessed by someone:




This guy might be DICE lmao. The Trait will increase your damage, but I still think that the Scout Trait will be better. Beware, if you thought the Pulse Cannon was already over powered against heros (1/3 Damage after full charge!), just imagine what will happen when the new trait is used with the Pulse Cannon or explosive shot.

However, the best part (for me anyway) is that they're finally adding more offline game modes! It's about time too, this game has been lacking an Instant Action mode that the previous game had. No official word on whether the new modes will just be the online modes with bots or if it'll be all new game modes.

Unrelated, Greedo is now my favorite villain/hero. I literally killed a Luke Skywalker with 100% health in 10 seconds without taking damage! I even killed all three heroes in one round.

Nice job on this thread. We should create some kind of News group on here for people who write threads like these. Idk if/when i'll get this. Have no burning desire to get the DLC atm tbh. Maybe when Death Star drops.

The only hero I want is obiwan! also palpatine could use a saber

lel can't blay BF anymore, it throws me some weird ass error (which is probably cuz my dog made my PC fall and.... the GPU has been behaving weird ever since)
