New Name Brainstorm Topic.

Well since DICE screwed us over with battlefront being very anti clan friendly and no in game chat we should shift our focus back to everything gaming or everything star wars, I guess we have to decide the focus first then all brainstorm ideas for names

if we do decide to focus on star wars I still have the domain everythingstarwars.net we could easily use it for our main site instead of the useless blog it is now

I'd prefer Star Wars, however, I'm open to the idea of just gaming in general.

If you think about it...we can make this a reality...we just have to be successful on one or two games, get some dedicated members and we can spread a community out like that.

We already have a Destiny community. its going pretty well and i'm determined to make it work even better when Destiny 2 comes out.

We could build a star wars community together. I'm also going to be on the Division...so we could definitely go on that as well.

Its a work in progress. we can support as many or as few games as we can as well..don't think those are the only games I thought about or anything. Feel free to make suggestions or criticisms.

I'm sad, you wrote CoD and BF but no CS :'( gonna cry.


Btw, I tried The Division. I guess my system is too outdated (Welp, can't blame the game, uPlay warned me when I installed the game). Anyway, I don't think it was meant to be played on laptops. not on this kind of laptop anyway. I'd get better stuff with a 400-500€ custom built desktop for sure. Desktops are the real gaming machines.

Your idea looks pretty good and well organized, we can be focused on Star Wars but play other games and the idea of playing indie games too is great, indie games become famous quickly.

indeed. Indie games tend to have lots of great stuff AAA titles don't. I guess one of the reasons is them not having a stable/big fanbase, so they actually have to make good games and focus less on the "OMG Graphikz", unlike most AAA-title companies *cough* CoD is the same every year, except for AW and BO3, those are Titanfall ripoffs*cough*

Yeah. My friend (whose into AAA games and stuff like that) is a bit of a gaming nutjob and he plays indie games all the time...he kinda gets a good mix of Japanese games (incl. Nintendo cus he has every Nintendo console with loads of games), PC games, PS3 games, Indie games and AAA games. I figure that if there's more people like him around, we could have a general gaming community focused around indie games or whatever...something a bit different.

Most importantly, we need to be:

-Organised
-Well structured BUT FUN and NOT TOO INTRUSIVE (I have a friend in a clan structured like the army who cannot do certain things because they are mega strict).
-Responsive to issues (e.g. arguments), making sure we have good rules, mods and deal with situations properly.
-Friendly and fun to be with.
-A network of connected gamers...social experience at every possible opportunity.

No clan has most/all of those components...we can do that.

The latest generation of consoles especially is all about being social...its our time to benefit from that.

Remember as well, we can build a community on Star Wars, then motivate those guys to recruit on other games..expand from there...or we could do it the other way...move into star wars from another game....lets not be limited by poor releases and so on.

Nintendo has awesome games. They are mostly first-party, but they're still awesome.

Yep, we can always do that. If we do that I'll probably create them myself, I think (might be wrong) you need x karma to create a subreddit, and ur accounts don't have that much, isn't it? Just tell me, what're we doing exactly?

I'll double check first. Most of this will be summer though. No time atm. Crapload of coursework until may...exams from may till june...sucks, lol

I'll have two exams this year. Ughghghgh 3 if you include violin exam.
