SW: Battlefront

Well sh*t. I love the beta. I simply do.
It's not like SW: Battlefield.
It's different enough.
I must tell you, firing a gun in SW was never like this. And I'm telling you, it feels great!
I'm playing on low settings on my laptop (still feels amazing), and I get steady 45FPS on online gameplay. It's amazing. I was afraid I couldn't run it cuz Battlefield 4 is buggy and lags as hell, but this doesn't.
It's smooth.
Also, I got some screenies in ultra settings. I got 15-20FPS when playing at ultra.

The jump pack feels amazing as well, it's so great.
Also, I love the ingame and menu music. It's so... Star Wars.

On my first game, I got wrecked XD, look at some of my screenies. Second game went much better.
I managed to get better on the second one though :D

Yeah, this game is truly amazing.

And, it's nowhere nearly as buggy as both Battlefield 4 and Hardline still are. Or were at release date.

I can't play it on my laptop. Nvidia JUST ended support for my GPU, and I need the newest driver to play. I am going to buy my new GPU tonight, but the Beta will be over by the time I can actually try the game. Oh well...

I ignored the message saying it needs the latest graphics driver. It said it needed a more recent intel driver. It worked (barely, it was using the Intel HD graphics), but then I changed it in the Radeon settings so it'd use the dedicated card and it never showed up again.

Just played as Luke, so much fun! Although I died in like, 2 minutes.

I've already bought all the weapons and star cards. Apparently I've played the game for about 12 hours already! 

I also recorded a video where I took down an AT-AT using a Snowspeeder tow cable. If I hadn't done that the Empire would have won that battle.

I recorded a 1vs1... But GameDVR stopped working so I had to use Fraps.... The AVI file is 5 mins long and is a 15gb file... I comverted it to MPEG4 and its 200MB but the quality went down.

I have but they're no where near as useful as SWBF2. They take too much damage from blaster fire and their health bar decreases too fast. Still, they're fun to play as but you won't last long with them.

it's to prevent them from being too OP maybe.

^^ Yeah, but I think they should either decrease the amount of health drain or let you gain more than 1% of health back for killing an enemy.

me and Isaac played split screen, we went out and got another ps4 controller just so we could haha, I wish we could set it on hard and have at least 10 rounds in the beta tho

Beta survival was too short tbh. Really immersive tho. I liked it.

Yeah it was short but it'll be longer in the full game.

Actually there's a difference. Demo is a small, but complete segment of the game released for free over a network e.g. PSN to be played by people who don't have the game to entice them to get it.

Betas are nearly finished segments of the game which are tested by external testers, often public gamers with the idea that the developer can discover hidden issues, bugs and better understand server requirements. Gamers can use this as an opportunity to test the game out, although its not specifically designed to sell the game to them, whereas a Demo is :P (You can tell i'm a computer science student, lol).

hum, that WAS a demo imo. A demo inside the beta. Also, yeah, it kept telling you to buy the game. On the menus, and after every single game.The game is pretty much ready, I doubt they'll change anything significant. This is why I called it a demo.
