So, our server is being setup atm.
While I don't have the Raspberry PI B+ yet, I am already setting up the map.

I don't think that way. It is a game with a pretty interesting concept, but yeah, kinda overrated. Idk why ppl give it such big ratings. Its not bad, but it is not... anything so good that it grows this much. IDK. But it is a popular game, and we may get members from it.

It's a popular game because there is no objective with endless possibilities. It appeals to people of all ages.


It's not over rated, it is in fact a good game and deserves every bit of fame it gets.



You aren't gonna get members from Minecraft because it's not big on multiplayer. By that, I mean there isn't clans, there isn't match making where you might run into someone who will be willing to check out the site. It's just a bunch of mini game servers where advertising is illegal anyway.

Let's be real here, if I came up to you in the middle of playing a mini game and asked you to join my site, would you do it? While on top of that stay active and posting things? The answer is no because you wont feel right.

You'll feel out of place almost like you don't belong. The same thing happens on every other game. This site isn't geared towards any particular game. It's just a bunch of games. Hell, the gaming section is one of the last things in the forum. "Ban log" comes before gaming.


For entertainment, let's say I'm playing Dayz. Dan comes up to me and tells me about this site explains its a gaming site/community and so on. I'm gonna show up expecting some kind information about Dayz and talk to other people playing it. No one else does, this site offers nothing at all, I'm gonna leave.

If you want members, offer something people want.

It IS overrated. It got the fame it got because the current game market doesn't have anything differet, I don't think it is a bad game (else I wouldn't have it on PS3, PC and Android), but it IS overrated.
And MC IS big on multiplayer. ;) People buy MC mostly cuz of MP currently.

Dark, I've already been through this 10x over with Dan awhile back.

Look at the site as it is now. It's not even a website anymore. It's more or less a lounge where people who know of this site come and chat.

This site needs a complete over-haul if you want it in the direction you keep pushing for. Tailor the site towards games you and everyone else plays. Maybe post news, tips and tricks, host events/servers etc..

There's a lot of "useless" forum categories that haven't even been touched in months. Everyone all of a sudden has taken in interest in programming. Maybe make an actual section for that.

I'm not saying it's gonna be 100% perfect site and gonna take off and be popular, but it's a step in the right direction. Not all sites work out the way you want, but you wont even get 0.1% satisfaction with the site being the way it is now.

You can't tell me honestly that if you were playing Destiny for example and I asked you to join this site that you would be as active as you are now. You would post once and leave.
